Nicholas Santiago is a California native who studied scenic and video design at UCLA’s MFA design program and theatrical design at Grinnell College. He is beginning his seventh year at Crossroads School of the Arts & Sciences teaching Theatrical Design and serving as one of the resident designers.

 

Since moving to LA he has worked for numerous universities and Theatre companies including USC (Trojan Women, Fortinbras, On the Town), Cal State Long Beach (Penelope, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Tartuffe Lab), Saddleback College (Next to Normal), Dos Pueblos High School (In the Heights), Rogue Machine Theatre (A Permanent Image, Honky, Luka's Room), Skylight Theatre (Church & State, Obamology, Dontrell who kissed the Sea), Pasadena Playhouse (Ham), and the LA LGBT Center (Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe Revisited). He received an Ovation nomination and a LA Drama Critic's Circle award for his work on Rogue Machine's A Permanent Image
